TV PERSONALITY TO LEAD GHOST HUNT AT BETHANY

BETHANY, W.Va. – Chris Fleming, co-host of the Biography Channel’s “Dead Famous” series and one of the nation’s most popular authorities on paranormal and supernatural phenomena, will be giving a unique presentation at Weimer Lecture Hall in Bethany College’s Richardson Hall of Science on Saturday, April 12 at 9 p.m.

After opening with a general discussion of his work and detailing some of the more interesting experiences he has encountered during his years of research into the paranormal, Fleming will give members of the audience a chance to participate in their own “Ghost Hunt.” At the conclusion of his remarks, Fleming will select 50 people to join him on a search for paranormal activity on the Bethany College campus.

Fleming has been interested in the paranormal since childhood and first hit the national spotlight as the publisher of Unknown Magazine (1997-2001). He claims to have captured more than 1,000 Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) while working with some of the top psychics and parapsychologists in the field and frequently can be found joining forces with local ghost hunters on their psychic investigations.

Fleming’s television show, “Dead Famous,” debuted on the Biography Channel in 2004. It is billed as a “reality and documentary-styled program” in which Fleming, as the Ghost Hunter, and co-host Gail Porter attempt to investigate ghostly phenomena involving famous celebrities and historical haunted sites. Fleming’s appearance is part of the Student Activities Council (SAC) entertainment series.
