Bethany College Presents Music for an Autumn Evening

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College Department of Visual and Performing Arts will present its first concert of the season — Music for an Autumn Evening — on October 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Commencement Hall.

The concert will feature solo and duet works by Telemann and Carey performed by Aaron Carey, Lecturer in Music, and Pandel Collaros, Assistant Professor of Music, on guitar; Debussy’s “Claire de Lune” performed by pianist Sun Jung Lee; works of Schubert and Verdi performed by baritone David J. Rudari, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of the Bethany College Choir, and accompanied by Lee; and works of Beebe, Bach, Regelski and Seiber performed by the Bethany College Choir, directed by Rudari and accompanied by Lee.

The event will also feature J. Matthew White on the steel drum.

Bethany is a small college of national distinction located on a historic 1,300-acre campus in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. Founded in 1840, it is the oldest college in the state.
