Motivational Speaker and Social Entrepreneur Alexis Jones to Speak During Bethany College Women’s Month

BETHANY, W.Va. — Bethany College announces that internationally recognized motivational speaker Alexis Jones, founder of the female empowerment company i am that girl, will address the campus community on March 24 as part of the College’s Women’s Month activities. The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will be held in Weimer Lecture Hall.
Well-known for her ability to engage young audiences through compelling and entertaining presentations, 26-year-old Jones is a noted expert on Generation Y and the many pressures and expectations that confront its members. A former teen model, Jones earned a master’s degree in communication from the University of Southern California and was a final contestant on the CBS show Survivor Micronesia. She also works as a writer and television host.
