Bethany, W.Va. — Bethany College is delighted to announce the appointment of two exceptional educators, Dr. Felicia Kademian-Saini and Amanda Chappell, to the department of psychology. With their diverse backgrounds and commitment to academic excellence, they are set to enrich the learning experiences of our students and further enhance the institution’s standing in the field of psychology.

Kademian-Saini brings a wealth of knowledge in clinical psychology and multicultural community clinical psychology. With a Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Kademian-Saini has a robust academic foundation that she has leveraged to provide comprehensive instruction in various psychology courses. Her expertise also extends to administrative roles, including contributing to the development and maintenance of psychology schedules and syllabi at West Virginia University, Parkersburg.

“Both of these professors’ academic backgrounds and teaching experiences align perfectly with our commitment to providing a transformative education to our students,” says Bethany President Dr. Jamie Caridi. “We look forward to the contributions they will make to the psychology department, as well as our overall academic environment.”

“I am very excited to be joining the Bethany College family and help build our psychology department,” says Kademian-Saini. “Having a clinical background, I am excited to hopefully develop a counseling program here at Bethany College to help get students excited and engaged in working within the field of mental health.”

Chappell brings her expertise in lifespan developmental psychology to Bethany. Her research interests align with her passion for teaching, and her previous role as an instructor of record for several psychology courses at West Virginia University and Radford University demonstrates her dedication to the field.

“I am so excited to join the Bethany team,” says Chappell. “I have dreamed of becoming a professor for so long and now here I am! The students and staff here are so special. I think I will be right at home at Bethany.”

Provost and Dean of Faculty Dr. Anju Ramjee says, “I am honored to welcome Dr. Felicia Kademian-Saini and Amanda Chappell to our Bethany College family. Dr. Kademian-Saini’s clinical expertise and Dr. Chappell’s dedication to lifespan developmental psychology will undoubtedly enhance the psychology program.”

With the start of the academic year, Bethany College is excited to have these two outstanding educators on our team.
