Under the leadership of the Bethany College Alumni Council, the college has launched a campaign to raise $250,000 in the 2017 calendar year.

Donations, payable over two years, will be used to provide the Office of Career and Professional Development with the technology, programs, personnel and tools it needs to compete for today’s prospective students, assist current students with internship and co-op opportunities and help place its graduates in exciting, well-paying jobs when they graduate.

Because of your support, more Bethany College students will:

  • Be selected for competitive internships in their field of study.
  • Benefit from alumni and faculty mentoring programs.
  • Be better prepared to engage in job searches and conduct job interviews.
  • Obtain employment in their field of study within four months of graduation.
How you can invest in this project:
  1. Make a pledge of $250, $500, $1,000 or more today;
  2. Pay the entire amount today; or…
  3. Pay half of the pledge amount today, and the college will send you a reminder about the remaining balance in 2018.

How You Can Help:

Donations are tax deductible in a single payment or can be fulfilled with two payments – half now and half in 2018.

The funds will be used to:

•  Evaluate best practices in college career development capabilities at small liberal arts colleges and adopt as appropriate.

•  Install state-of-the art information technology, including computers, software and hardware for students and staff.

•  Purchase new audio-visual equipment to conduct job interview training to improve student skills.

• Recruit and retain an additional career services staff member to work with faculty, students and staff to expand the college’s network of prospective employers regionally and nationally.
