Milan M. Blistan
Class of 1938
A member of the Class of 1938, Milan M. Blistan played football, basketball, and ran track for Bethany from 1934-38.
Blistan was captain of the football team for three years and was named a Second-Team All-State West Virginia selection at center in 1937. In the late 1950s, he was selected as one of the top 20 players to graduate from Bethany at the time by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Blistan was involved in community activities, setting up Little League and other athletic programs for children in the Beaver area. He received an award for donating 10 years of service to his community.
Blistan graduated from Bethany with a B.S. in Biology.
A resident of Beaver, Pa., he worked for the A.M. Byers Company in Ambridge, Pa., holding many offices there, including Chief Inspector and Quality Control. He has four children and five grandchildren.
