Raquel (Burns) Davis
Class of 2003
Bethany softball’s first-ever First-Team All-American, Raquel (Burns) Davis was a four-year letterwinner for the Bison. A 2003 graduate, Davis helped lead the Green & White to four consecutive PAC Championships, including the very first PAC Tournament Championship in 2000. Following a Second-Team selection in 1999, Davis earned First-Team All-PAC honors in 2000, ’01 and ’02. She also earned First-Team All-Region honors in both ’99 and ’02, as well as being named an All-American selection in 1999.
When her career came to a close, Davis owned most of the career offensive records for the Bison, including batting average (.416), hits (182), home runs (17), RBIs (121), and doubles (36). All of those marks continue to rank in the top five today as she currently holds the top spot in home runs and ranks second in both batting average and RBIs.
