Richard E. Stuck, a resident of Waynesburg, Pa., co-captained the football and baseball teams, earning All-Conference honors in football as a defensive back. He was the co-winner of the Most Outstanding Senior Athlete Award, as well as the senior athlete with the highest academic average.
While at Bethany, Stuck also played one year of basketball. Academically, he was a member of the Honors Program and was a Kalon Scholar. Stuck also served as President of the Varsity "B" Club.
After graduating from Bethany in 1965 with a degree in secondary education and mathematics, Stuck went on to own and operate Exxon distributorships in Waynesburg, Pa., and Oakland, Md.
Stuck and his wife, Ellen, have two children, Tracy and Steve.
