Rick Cipullo
Class of 1965

Cipullo, a 1965 Bethany graduate, lettered four years for the Bison basketball team. Cipullo scored 1,199 points and led the Green & White to a 59-13 record during his time at Bethany, including a perfect 18-0 mark in 1963-64. He was the first basketball player in PAC history to be selected unanimously by the league coaches for three consecutive years to the All-PAC team.

Cipullo led the Bison to two PAC championships and placed second the other two times during that four-year period. In 1964 and 1965, Cipullo was the PAC individual scoring leader and recorded the most field goals in the PAC. He set the Bethany all-time single scoring mark with 45 points as the Bisons defeated Thiel College, which is now tied for 2nd all-time in Bethany history. Cipullo was the PAC free throw shot leader twice, including 37 of 40 (.925) in 1963.
