Stelios Papadopoulos
Class of 1970

Papadopoulos, a 1970 graduate, was a member of Bison soccer teams from 1967 through 1970 and a team captain who earned All-Conference honors. He holds the single-game record at Bethany for most goals in a game. The forward recorded six goals in a contest against John Carroll in 1968.

During the 1968 season, Papadopoulos was also named an All-PAC selection after posting 18 goals. That number currently ranks sixth all-time on the Bethany single-season scoring list.

While at Bethany, Papadopoulos was active off the field as he was head of the Student Board of Governors, a member of Gamma Sigma Kappa Scholastic honor society and chairman of other student groups, including College Council. He is currently a vice president with Paine Webber.
