Steve Lundberg
Cross Country, Track & Field, Basketball
Class of 1963

Steve Lundberg was a four-time All-PAC performer in cross country and track. In cross country, he won 17 consecutive meets, while setting a course record at each race. On the track, he was the WVIAC champion in the one- and two-mile runs in 1960 and 1961, while also holding school records in both events. He also helped the Bison capture the 1960 PAC team title.

In addition, Lundberg was a member of the basketball team for two seasons, including the 1961-62 squad that went 17-1 and won the first PAC title in school history.

Lundberg went on to graduate from Bethany in 1963 and would work for Exxon in various management positions in six different states until 1979. He then founded Lundberg Windows and Siding, Inc., a nationally ranked home improvement company. Lundberg also was a founding director of the Police Athletic League in Charlotte, N.C., while also serving as director of Optimist Bowl Charities.

Lundberg, who graduated from Avonworth High School in Pittsburgh, Pa., currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, Janet. They have two grown children, Steve and David.
