Class of 2003
Will Anderson, a 2003 graduate, was a four-year member of the Bethany football team. The tailback earned First-Team All-PAC honors following both the 2001 and 2002 seasons. In ’01, while helping the Bison to a 6-3 overall record, Anderson averaged 81.6 yards per game on the ground, totaling 752 yards and six touchdowns. The following year was Anderson’s best, however, as the senior tallied a school record 1,186 yards and 10 touchdowns. The touchdown record stood until 2010, while the yardage record was just broken in 2015 by running back Jalen Holmes.
At the culmination of his four-year career, Anderson held the school record in rushing yardage with 2,946 yards and also claimed the top spot in rushing touchdowns (23). Currently those numbers rank second and third, respectively, on the all-time list. Anderson also currently stands third on the Bethany career list in total touchdowns (30), while sitting fourth in all-purpose yards, having amassed 3,647.
