Nov. 15 - WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Bethany cross country teams completed their season Saturday by competing at the NCAA Mideast Regional, held at Waynesburg (Pa.) University.

The Bison women finished 33rd out of 44 full teams at the event, while the BC men competed as only individuals.

The top runner for Bethany’s women was sophomore Suzanne Stettinius (Parkton, Md./Hereford), who placed 108th out of 304 runners with a time of 25:21. Junior Maggie McCort (Fort Ashby, W.Va./Frankfort) was the next runner to cross for the Green and White by taking 127th place (25:38).

Also representing Bethany at the Regional meet was junior Jodi Bodo (Steubenville, Ohio/Steubenville Catholic Central), junior Alissa Moss (Meadow Lands, Pa./Chartiers-Houston), senior Laura Strassguetl (Munich, Germany/Rupprecht Gymnasium) and sophomore Lindsay Brewer (Wadsworth, Ohio).

Only two BC men ran in the race at Waynesburg, including junior Patrick Miller (Canonsburg, Pa./Chartiers-Houston) and freshman Richard Strassguetl (Munich, Germany/Rupprecht Gymnasium).
