August 30 – NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Bethany College cross country teams competed at the Muskingum Relays on Saturday afternoon. The women were able to place second, while the men due to injury were unable to finish the race.
For the women, the top duo was Michaela Ross (Wahiawa,Hawaii/Leilehua)/Elizabeth Timas (Middlefield, Ohio/Cardinal), who notched a fifth-place finish with a time of 37:27. Also finishing in the top eight was the grouping of Brooke Bosworth (St. Clairsville, Ohio/St. Clairsville)/Ashley Worst (Cuba, N.Y./Apollo-Ridge ) and Jess Olson (Moon, Pa./Moon)/Rhianna Petrone (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan). Bosworth and Worst finished seventh with a time of 38:14, while Olson and Petrone grabbed eighth (38:25).
The teams will be back in action on Saturday, September 6th, when they travel to Edinboro University for the Doug Watts Invitational.
