Cross Country Teams Compete At Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble

Oct. 19 - OBERLIN, Ohio - Preparing for the PAC Championship just two weeks away, the Bethany College men's and women's cross country teams compete at the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday. The men finished 25th while the womNYU en came in 32nd place.

One the men's side, the Bison finished in 25th with a total score of 794. Cory Yarrington finished with a team-best time of 27:23.2 finishing in 111th place in the scoring. Other top times for the Bison included Ryan Donnelly's 27:35.7 (125th) and Wesley Scott's 28:39.9 (165th).

On the women's side, Rhianna Petron paced all Bison 25:30.4 (125th) while Brooke Bosworth (26:19.7) and Jessica Olson (27:04.5) finished 180th and 198th out of a field of almost 300 runners.

The overal team winner on the men's side was NYU with a total of 55 points, while the individual winner of the day was Bobby Over with a total time of 25:01.44.

On the women's side, NYU once again walked away with the victory with 72 overal points and Emily Cousens of NYU took the indvidual victory with a time of 21:54.5.

The Bison will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 2 as they participate in the PAC Championships hosted by Chatham University.
