Bison Field Hockey Loses at Denison

Oct. 11 - GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Bethany College field hockey team went on the road Thursday night and suffered a 10-0 loss at Denison (Ohio) University.

The Big Red (10-4) scored their first goal at the 5:56 mark and added another just 40 seconds later. Denison would finish the first half with five goals and tack on another five in the second. The home team finished the night with a 39-2 advantage in shots.

For the Bison (1-10), freshman goalie Jacqueline Harrison (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) continued at her NCAA Division III-leading pace. She entered the game averaging 16.90 saves per game to lead the nation and Harrison kept right at her pace by stopping 17 shots in the game.

Bethany will return to the field Saturday with a road game at Frostburg State scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
