March 17 – PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Looking to continue his football career, Bethany College and Presidents’ Athletic Conference all-time leading receiver Eric Blinn (Beaver, Pa./Western Beaver) recently participated in front of numerous NFL scouts at a Pro Day hosted by Duquesne University.
Blinn, the career leader in the PAC in receptions (344), receiving yards (4,261) and receiving touchdowns (37), completed his four-year career at Bethany with 5,518 all-purpose yards, the most of any Bison in school history.
On Wednesday, Blinn participated in speed and skill drills in front of at least 20 scouts from around the National Football League. He had the opportunity to show off the skills that made him the best receiver in conference history; an opportunity in which he has been striving for.
“It has always been a dream of mine to perform in front of scouts at the highest level,” remarked Blinn on the day. “I’m so thankful to Bethany for helping me get to a point where I was able to have an opportunity to pursue this dream.
“This whole experience is something that I’ll never forget, and I would like to thank everyone that has helped me get to this point, and hopefully further,” remarked Blinn. “I’m very excited to see what the future has in store.”
