Dec. 2 - Bethany, W. Va. - Tyler Morando (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Central) has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week for the week of December 1st.

The 6-2 guard is also shooting 56 percent (24-43) from three-point land for the season, putting him 6th in the PAC.

He led Bethany to an 83-58 win over Ohio Eastern, scoring 12 points in 12 minutes on four three-point field goals. He led BC with 21 points in just 16 minutes of action in a Bison stampede over Penn State-Fayette (112-31), which set a school record for largest margin of victory (81).

“It’s a great honor for Tyler, and his teammates, for the recognition as Player of the Week,” says Bison head coach Mike Summey. “He is a great example of hard work paying off. It is always nice to see guys who work hard, day in and day out, get great recognition like this.”

A business administration major, Tyler is the son of Tess and Tom Morando.
