March 20 - MOON TWP, Pa. – The Bethany College men’s lacrosse team fell to 0-4 with a 21-2 setback at LaRoche Saturday in a game played at Robert Morris University near Pittsburgh.

The Bison scored one goal in the first quarter, which was an unassisted tally by sophomore Kyle Arrington (Jackson, Twp., Ohio./Jackson) to tie him for the team-lead with three goals this season.

The other BC goal came in the third period, as sophomore John Tritschler (Lower Burrell, Pa./Greensburg Central) assisted on a score by freshman Robbie Foster (Greatbridge, Va.). It was Foster’s second goal of the year and the initial assist of Tritschler’s season.

On defense, freshman Corey Doneski (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) scooped up a team-leading six ground balls in the defeat, while freshman Travis Granich (Huntington, W.Va.) recorded three ground balls.

In net, freshman C.J. Studnicky (Severna Park, Md.) made nine saves, including five in the first half.

The Bison are now off for a week before returning to action Saturday, March 26 with a home game against Ohio Valley University at 1 p.m.
