Bison Lacrosse Stumbles In Season Finale

April 26 – BUENA VISTA, Va. – The Bethany College Lacrosse squad dropped their season finale to Southern Virginia (13-3) on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts took an early 2-0 lead after one period of play.

After Southern Virginia tack on another goal to take a 3-0 advantage in the second period, the Bison would get on the board on a goal from Travis Granich (Huntington, W.Va./Huntington)

The Knights would then score four unanswered goals to take a 7-1 lead entering intermission.

The third period saw Dylan Radwanski (Toronto, Ohio/Toronto) find the back of the next on a pass from Jake Holland (Canton, Ohio/Jackson) to bring the score to 7-2 with 4:22 left to play.

Southern Virginia would then tack on three more goals to close out third frame with a 10-2 lead.

The fourth period saw the Bison add on one more goal, as Granich found the back of the net for his second of the game.

The Knights were just too much, however, as they went on to capture a 13-3 victory.
