Men's Tennis Falls to Grove City In Conference Action

March 31 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to visiting Grove City College on Tuesday evening at the Mary Ewing Tennis Center.

The Green & White found themselves down 3-0 after doubles play. The No. 3 doubles team of Mason Schoonover (Elkins, W. Va./Elkins) and Dylan Schooley (Washington, Pa./Trinity) posted the top performance, falling by an 8-2 score.

In singles action, Kyle Booker (Forest Park, Ga./Forest Park) dropped his match at No. 4 singles, falling to Jonathan Graber, 6-1, 6-3. Schoonover fell for the first time in his career in singles action, dropping a 6-0, 6-3 decision to Matt Lynch at No. 5 singles.

The Bison will be back in action on Wednesday, April 8, when they play host to the Tomcats of Thiel College. The match is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
