In the second, neither team had larger than a two-point lead through the first half of the game. It was tied at 22-22 before the Titans again scored seven of the next eight points to close in on the 30-24 win.

Game three saw Westminster surge out to a 10-2 advantage and BC never moved closer than six the rest of the way, as the Titans pulled into a first place tie with Thomas More (Ky.) College in the league.

Bethany’s offense was led by senior Lauren Spegal (Bethel Park, Pa.) with seven kills and junior Sumer Scott (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) with six. Junior Kim McKay finished with 21 assists and piling up 17 digs on the night was sophomore Rachael Dunham (Gans, Pa./Albert Gallatin).
