Nov. 11 - BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany freshman Courtney Meadows (Canton, Ohio/McKinley) was named Honorable Mention All-PAC when the all-conference volleyball teams were announced over the weekend.

The 5-8 outside hitter led the Bison and ranked seventh in the PAC with 292 kills. Meadows had 14 matches with 10 or more kills, including a season-high of 22, reached in matches at Marietta Sept. 13 and at Thiel Oct. 16.

Also a solid defensive player, Meadows was fourth on the team with 138 dig. She set a career-high in the Thiel match with 15 digs, which was one of three matches she had 10 or more in this season. In addition, Meadows ranked fourth on the squad with 12 service aces.

Courtney played very well for us this season,” said second-year Bethany head coach Courtney Kline. “I am proud of her achieving this accomplishment as a freshman and I look for her to continue to improve and do great things in the future.”

Undecided on a major, Courtney is the daughter of Kimberly Meadows of Canton, Ohio.
