June 4 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College volleyball program has announced that it will once again be hosting a summer skills clinic on the campus of Bethany College on Saturday, July 26.
The clinic will begin at 10 a.m. and will have three, two-hour sessions. The first, for players between grades 1-8, will be an all skills clinic for boys and girls that will focus on fundamental skill development. Instruction will focus on passing, serving, and attacking and will be held from 10 a.m. until noon. The cost of the first session is $30.
Sessions two and three will focus primarily on athletes between grades 7-12. The 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. session will focus on setter training as well as work with outside hitters. Session two, focusing on defense and middle hitter training will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Both sessions will also cost $30. A discount rate of $25 per session will apply to any player who wishes to participate in two sessions.
