Women's Soccer Suffers OT Loss At Westminster

Oct. 9- NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.- Freshman Cheyann McQuain (Fairmont, W.Va./East Fairmont) recorded 11 saves but the Bethany College women’s soccer team fell, 1-0 in overtime at Westminster on Wednesday evening at Harold Burry Stadium.

Raechel Pustaeri netted the game-winner for the Titans in the 93rd minute. Jordan Steele took a corner for the Titans and Pusateri was on the receiving end and fired the ball into the net for the game-winner.

McQuain had an impressive first half for the Bison, as she recorded seven saves to keep the game scoreless heading into the halftime break.

The Bison had their best scoring chance of the game in the 68th minute as freshman Brittany Fullbright (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) put a shot on net which forced Rachael Letscher to make a diving save to keep the game scoreless.

Bethany returns to action on Saturday when they face Grove City with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m
