Ashley Marinacci just completed her first year as the head women's tennis coach for the 2013-14 campaign.
Marinacci brings competitiveness and a history of success with her from her days both as a player and as a coach for the Bison softball program. As a player, she was the pinnacle of consistency, as she started in 177 games over her four years. A 2010 graduate and a four-time All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference selection (First Team during junior and senior campaigns), Marinacci, a Physical Education major, earned Third Team ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II honors as a senior. She finished her career ranked second in career doubles (39) and fourth in RBI (98).

During her tenure as a player, the Bison totaled 98 total victories over four seasons, including a 36-18 record in conference. The team also took the 2008 PAC crown and finished third at the NCAA Regional at Ithaca.

Following her tenure as a player, Marinacci moved to coaching, beginning with a season as an assistant at Washington & Jefferson. She returned to her alma mater and under her tutelage, the softball team produced seven All-PAC performers, including three First Team selections. She has coached a First Team All-Region and Third Team All-American performer in Maria Vallone, who in addition to graduating as the softball program's all-time leader in hits and batting average also led the tennis program in wins in 2011 and 2012. The softball team also saw 13 Academic All-PAC performers in Marinacci's two seasons.
