Three Authors with Bethany Ties Release Publications
Dr. Larry Grimes, Director of Church Relations and Professor of English emeritus; D. Duane Cummins, former Bethany president; and Wiley Cash, former Assistant Professor of English at Bethany, all have recently had their works published.

"Hemingway, Cuba, and the Cuban Works," published by The Kent State University Press, is edited by Grimes and Bickford Sylvester. The publication includes critical perspectives that analyze specific works that Hemingway wrote during his time in Cuba.

"Bethany College:  A Liberal Arts Odyssey," published by Chalice Press, is written by Cummins. In the book, Cummins discusses the history of Bethany College, since Alexander Campbell's 1840 charter established "a seminary of learning for the instruction of youth," all the way up to present day.

In the novel "This Dark Road to Mercy," published by HarperCollins Publishers, Cash writes of love and atonement, blood and vengeance, narrated by a trio of alternating voices.

Each book is available either through the publisher or Amazon.com
