Annual Allison’s Run Set for Sept. 28

BETHANY, W.Va. – Registration is open for the annual Allison’s Run held in conjunction with Bethany College’s Homecoming weekend.

The noncompetitive 5K run/walk is set for 8:30 a.m. Sept. 28. Registration is $20 and includes a T-shirt.

In its 19th year, Allison’s Run is held in memory of Bethany alumnus and longtime math professor Jim Allison ’62.

The 5K course follows Allison’s favorite route on Castleman Run Road along the banks of Buffalo Creek.

Proceeds from the run are used to fund student scholarships.
