Inspire young minds and shape your future in education with Bethany and WLU.
Earn a joint degree from Bethany College and West Liberty University in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in elementary education, all while living and learning on Bethany’s campus.
Through our partnership with West Liberty University, you’ll follow a seamless academic path that prepares you to become a licensed elementary school teacher. All coursework is completed as part of the joint program, and you’ll graduate with the credentials from West Liberty University to sit for the PRAXIS 2 exam.
You will also be eligible to compete in our Division III athletics for all four years of the program.
In addition to your enhanced educational experience, you’ll get to experience the vibrant Bethany community, as well
as the natural beauty that surrounds our campus.
- Rolling hills and four miles of hiking trails
- Waterfalls and outdoor classes
- NCAA Division III athletics, co-curriculars, and campus traditions that keep you engaged beyond the classroom
You will graduate with a joint degree from both institutions and the credentials from West Liberty University to
