Although Bethany’s campus is set in a safe rural town, labeled the #1 Town to Live In for West Virginia in 2019 (for towns with a population between 1,000 and 5,000) by homesnacks.net, we are at the doorstep to Pittsburgh – America’s Most Livable City. The arts and sports thrive in this wonderful city, home to many corporations and international companies.
Local West Virginia Attractions
Oglebay Resort is located just a few miles from Bethany’s campus and provides you with a number of recreational opportunities. Choose from one of four golf courses, a ski lift, or the spa. All the conveniences of life are just around the corner.
The Highlands is located about 20 minutes from campus and provides you with numerous shopping, entertainment and restaurant venues. Home to Cabelas, Panera Bread, Old Navy, Target, a 14-screen movie theatre, Quaker Steak and Lube and Cheddars Casual Café just to name a few.
Wheeling, with its beautiful waterfront and rich history, is just a short drive from campus. Explore the river city and all it has to offer.
