Professor Osborne’s work experience includes 16 years in senior sales and international marketing management positions with Apple Computer, 10 years in sales and sales management with IBM, 10 years working with Silicon Valley Venture Capital firms to place executives into their investment companies, four years in finance with Chevron, and three years working in start-ups.
He is the past President of Wheeling’s Symposiarchs organization, served over eight years on the City of Wheeling’s Arts and Cultural Commission, is a member of the Twilight Club in Wheeling, and served on the Board of Directors for Brookline Electric and Georgetown Commons.
When in graduate school, he was Editor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s prestigious Sloan Management Review.

Professor Osborne is a senior corporate executive and scholar with over 40 years experience in high technology management. The creator of a unique college course on how to move from academia to the real world, he has led students on a journey to explore their “exit” strategy when they leave college for over 10 years.
He also runs Bethany College’s Office of Career and Professional Development, where students go to get resume help, internships, and jobs. He currently serves a President of the Upper Ohio Valley Career Services Consortium.
