Julie Osland

Associate Professor of Psychology

Kirkpatrick Hall

Dr. Julie Osland is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Bethany College. There are relatively few psychology classes that she hasn’t taught at least once. She loves using her excitement about psychology and technology to spark student interest in her favorite subject matter.

She was always interested in why people behaved or acted in certain ways. She figured out that meant pursuing a psychology major and the rest, as they say, is history.

Favorite Quote, Book, or Movie … Why?
“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” — The Princess Bride

It’s easy to forget that Individuals often make different connections between a word and its meaning. Inigo Montoya and Vizzini definitely disagree on the meaning of “inconceivable.”
