BETHANY, W.Va. – The moderator of the podcast “The Party Gamecast featuring the Party Game Cast” will speak at Bethany College at 11 a.m. Feb. 27.

Bruce Voge III will present “Board Games Are Products: Marketing Wisdom for Game Designers” in Richardson Hall Room 110.

Voge has been a fixture of the board game community for several years with his role in “The Party Gamecast” and as occasional cohost of “On Board Games.”

He also was the social media, public relations, and influencer relations manager for North Star Games, which publishes such well-known products as Wits & Wagers, Say Anything, Happy Salmon, the Evolution series, and Quacks of Quedlinburg.

According to his BoardGameGeek.com profile, Voge was a question and rule writer for Vegas Wits & Wagers and was on the development teams for more dude and Say Anything 10th Anniversary edition.

“This gives Bruce a unique perspective in many of the different available markets for board games including the hobby sector, the mass market and the toy and specialty store market,” said Aaron Honsowetz, assistant professor of economics and instructor of Bethany’s Board Game Creator Seminar.
