BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College is announcing the promotion of Dr. Jeff Bryson to the position of director of graduate studies. Dr. Bryson, who has been serving as an assistant professor of criminal justice at Bethany College, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role. 

Bryson holds a Ph.D. in public safety, specializing in criminal justice, from Capella University. He has also completed non-degree doctoral-level courses in sociology and counseling from the University of Memphis and holds a MAR in counseling with a concentration in marriage and family therapy from Harding School of Theology. Bryson’s impressive educational background makes him a valuable asset to the graduate program at Bethany College.

Dr. Jamie Caridi, president of Bethany College, expressed his excitement about Dr. Bryson’s promotion, saying, “We are delighted to have Dr. Bryson take on the role of director of graduate studies at Bethany College. His expertise and dedication to teaching and research make him an ideal fit for this position. We are confident that he will provide exceptional leadership and guidance to our graduate students.” 

As the Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Bryson will be responsible for overseeing the College’s graduate programs, developing curriculum, and providing guidance and support to graduate students. Bryson will also continue his role as assistant professor of criminal justice. His expertise and passion for criminal justice will greatly contribute to the success of the graduate programs at Bethany College.
