The Summer Orientation date is June 19, 2020.

Who Should Attend Orientation?

All students enrolling in Bethany College for the first time in Fall 2020 (Class of 2024 and transfer students) are required to attend Orientation.

Why Should I Attend Orientation?

Orientation aims to facilitate new students’ transition to Bethany College and enrich each individual’s unique Bethany experience.

Should My Parents Attend Orientation?

Parents and support providers are very important resources for students throughout college, particularly during the first year. Summer Orientation lets students and the significant people in their life experience Bethany College together. However, attendance by parents and support providers is not required.

When Should I Register For Orientation?

Date assignments will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to register as soon as possible. Students currently admitted and deposited will receive priority consideration for the June session.

A confirmation will be sent to each student with their Orientation date.

What Will We Do During Orientation?

Throughout the day, families and students will be split into smaller groups for certain sessions. At times, students may be separated from their families to participate in testing and specific sessions. Families will receive a personalized schedule upon arrival to Orientation Day.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Orientation fee will be included on each student’s fall tuition bill. The fee will cover the student and 2 additional guests. There will not be a separate bill for this program, except for additional family members. The cost for additional family members is $10 per person.

What If We Have To Travel?

All students, parents, and guests are responsible for their own overnight accommodations.
