Work study is money offered to students as part of their aid package that they can earn to assist with their educational expenses. Awards typically range from $200 to $2,000.

While a work study assignment won’t cover all your college costs, it can be a great way for students to defray their tuition and related costs while enrolled as a full-time student. Additionally, a work-study job gives students greater flexibility in scheduling than an off-campus job because on-campus employers are usually more able to accommodate your class schedule and campus activities.

Students are typically responsible for securing their own work-study jobs, and the best jobs go quickly, so we encourage you to find one that suits your needs, interests, and schedule without delay.
