Rooted in WV. Invested in You.

A historic opportunity for students in the Mountain State to earn a private college degree — tuition covered.

Bethany College is proud to invest in the students of West Virginia. Through the WV Tuition Covered Program, if your family’s Student Aid Index (SAI) is $60,000 or less, your tuition is covered in full — giving you access to a top-tier liberal arts education that’s close to home, yet far enough away to find yourself.

Apply and be accepted by Dec. 1, 2025 to qualify. Complete your FAFSA and list Bethany College (School Code: 003808) to get started.

What Is the WV Tuition Covered Program?

The WV Tuition Covered Program was created to open doors for West Virginia students — ensuring cost is never a barrier to a Bethany education.

If you qualify, your tuition is covered through a combination of federal, state, and institutional aid. You’ll only pay for room and board, which averages around $12,000 per year.

REQUIREMENTS:

WV Resident
SAI ≤ $60,000
Apply + Be Accepted by Dec. 1, 2025
First-time, Full-time, Residential Student
Accept All Forms of Aid (Scholarships, Grants, Loans)

ELIGIBILITY:

The West Virginia Tuition Covered Program is renewable for up to four consecutive years of full-time undergraduate enrollment at Bethany College.
Students must:

Remain West Virginia residents
SAI remains ≤ $60,000
Continue as full-time undergraduate students living on campus
Maintain good academic standing with the College

What’s a Student Aid Index (SAI)?

Your Student Aid Index (SAI) is a number calculated from your FAFSA that determines your family’s financial need. The lower your SAI, the more aid you may qualify for.

If your SAI is $60,000 or below, you could qualify for Bethany’s WV Tuition Covered Program.

Not sure what your SAI will be? Visit our FAFSA Resource Center to learn how to complete your FAFSA and see what your estimated aid could look like.
