BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College is announcing the promotion of Noah Salvatore to the position of director of international studies and principal designated school official (PDSO). In his new role, Salvatore will oversee the College’s international student services and provide guidance on regulatory compliance for the international student population.
Salvatore brings more than five years of professional management experience in academic affairs to his new position. With expertise in admissions, records, and registration, he is well-versed in higher education policies and a great fit for the role.
“I am pleased to promote Noah to this important role at this critical time in our history” says Bethany President Dr. Jamie Caridi. “Noah will be addressing our internationalization initiative in our strategic plan by providing resources, recruiting pipelines, and opportunities for student study abroad and service. His dedication and expertise in academic affairs make him an excellent choice for this role. I look forward to the positive impact he will make in supporting and enriching the experiences of international students.”
Salvatore expressed his excitement about the promotion, stating, “I’m blessed and thankful for the great opportunity. I’ve always been eager to start something new and trust in new beginnings. My supportive team of colleagues here at Bethany have graciously guided me and best prepared me for this growth in my career.”
In his previous role as assistant registrar at Bethany College, Salvatore played a pivotal role in ensuring the security and authenticity of student records, preparing reports and certifications, and assisting students with course selection. Bethany College is confident that Salvatore’s expertise and leadership will further enhance the College’s commitment to international education and diversity on campus.
