BETHANY, W.Va. – The Student Activities Council is hosting a Bethany College Color Run/Walk at noon Sunday, Oct. 6, on the cross country course near Castleman Run Road.

The noncompetitive race will cover 2 miles.

Registration is $10 per person or free for children 12 and younger. Everyone is invited to participate.

The first 50 participants will receive a T-shirt and a pair of sunglasses.

“It’s a fun Sunday activity,” said Marlo Trabert, coordinator of student activities and volunteer services. “It helps get people out and about.”

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is offering $300 in custom gear for any Bethany-recognized club, organization, or sports team that has the most participants.

To register, contact Trabert at [obfuscate_btn]mtrabert@bethanywv.edu[/obfuscate_btn] or call 304-829-7905. The fee can be paid at Bethany’s Office of Student Life in Bethany House, on Venmo (@Marlo-Trabert), or on the day of the race.

Participants are encouraged to wear white to make the most of the colorful experience. The runners and walkers are covered with dry tempera paint powder at stations throughout the course.
