BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College president Rev. Dr. Tamara Nichols Rodenberg, today announced the addition of four new members to the College’s board of trustees.
These new members were elected to the board at Bethany’s board of trustees meeting on May 18.
The new trustees are:
- Patrick Hosey – Patrick Hosey is a 1980 graduate of Bethany College and has worked in the field of information technology, holding sales and sales management positions at IBM from 1981 to 2000 and at Mainline Information Systems since 2000. Since 2010, Mr. Hosey has served on Bethany’s Alumni Association Board of Directors with a two-year term as Vice President and a two-year term as President.
- Sean McBride – Sean McBride is a 1986 graduate of Bethany College and went on to become a senior executive in the consumer goods and trade association sectors. He founded DSM Strategic Communications (DSM), a full service public relations agency that develops and executes innovative communications campaigns for companies, trade associations and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. McBride chairs the Advancment of the Bethany College Alumni Association Board of Directors. He also served as Executive Vice President of Communications & Membership Services for the Grocery Manufacturers Association, Vice President of Communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Legal Reform, served on the staff of George H.W. Bush’s 1988 presidential campaign, and was subsequently appointed to the staff of the ’88-’89 Reagan-Bush Presidential Transition Office.
- Georgiana Riley – Georgiana Riley is a 1971 graduate of Bethany College. After working in sales and marketing for a number of chemical and environmental companies, she went on to become President and owner of TIGG Corporation, a manufacturing company which designs and fabricates equipment and systems for the purification of water, air and industrial gases and liquids. She has served on the boards of Adagio Health, Catalyst Connection, and the Pittsburgh branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. She is a member of the Women Presidents Organization and is a founding member of the Next Act Fund, an angel investment group focusing on investing in early stage woman-owned/led companies.
- Craig Williams, Ph.D. – Craig Williams is a 1996 graduate of Bethany College and serves as Vice President, Health Care Innovation and Management Solutions, at Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC., and is Special Advisor to the President of Johns Hopkins University for Regional Economic Development Strategy. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Mr. Williams was Chief of Staff to Maryland Governor Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr. He also served four years with Maryland Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. as Deputy Chief of Staff as well as Deputy Director of Policy. In the private sector, he was Director of Policy for Amgen, Inc., the world’s largest biotechnology company.
