Bethany College Promotes Jessica Reams to Assistant Vice President for Business and Finance 

BETHANY, W.Va. (August 18, 2026) — Bethany College has promoted Jessica Reams, MBA, CPFC, to assistant vice president for business and finance, recognizing her leadership and contributions to the College’s financial operations and strategic planning.

Since joining Bethany, Reams has played a key role in strengthening the College’s financial management through budget oversight, enhanced internal controls, policy development, and operational improvements. She has collaborated with departments across campus to support financial planning, accountability, and long-term institutional sustainability. 

In her new role, Reams will continue overseeing key financial operations while providing strategic leadership across the Department of Business and Finance. 

Bethany President Dr. Jamie Caridi said Reams’ leadership has been instrumental in supporting the College’s continued progress. 

“Jessica’s leadership has helped move Bethany College forward by strengthening our financial operations and supporting our mission-driven priorities,” Caridi said. “She brings financial expertise, strategic decision-making, and a genuine commitment to our students, faculty, and staff. As we continue building our momentum, her leadership will be invaluable in positioning the College for long-term success.”

Reams brings more than a decade of financial management experience to the position. She earned her Master of Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude, from California University of Pennsylvania and holds the Certified Personal Financial Counselor (CPFC) designation. She also serves on several institutional committees focused on assessment, learning outcomes, and strategic planning. 

As assistant vice president for business and finance, Reams will continue leading initiatives that strengthen Bethany College’s financial foundation, improve operational effectiveness, and support the institution’s long-term strategic priorities.
