Bethany College Receives $10,000 for Student Scholarships from Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal

BETHANY, W.Va. (Sept. 4, 2026) — Bethany College is pleased to announce a new scholarship partnership with Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. (KRSM), providing $10,000 in direct financial support to Bethany students during the 2026-27 academic year. 

Through the partnership, Kalkreuth will fund five scholarships of $2,000 each, helping students meet the cost of their Bethany education while allowing them to remain focused on their academic and personal development.  

“When a respected company like Kalkreuth invests in Bethany students, it sends an important message that our region believes in their potential,” Bethany President Dr. Jamie Caridi said. “These scholarships do more than provide financial assistance. They create opportunity and demonstrate what is possible when higher education and the business community work together to support students. We are deeply appreciative of Kalkreuth’s partnership.” 

Headquartered in Wheeling, W.Va., KRSM has grown since its founding in 1984 into one of the nation’s leading commercial roofing contractors. The company specializes in commercial roofing, sheet metal and exterior building envelope solutions and maintains operations across W.Va., Md., Ohio, Ky. and Pa. The partnership builds upon an existing relationship between Kalkreuth and Bethany College. Kalkreuth has previously contributed its expertise to work on Bethany’s historic Old Main, one of the College’s most recognizable campus landmarks.
