BETHANY, W.Va. – A new partnership between Bethany College and Duquesne University will grant Bethany College students preferred conditional admission to several master’s programs offered at Duquesne’s Palumbo-Donahue School of Business.
“The Duquesne preferred admission agreements represent a wonderful opportunity for many Bethany students to pursue a master’s degree in a number of business-related fields at an excellent university close to home,” Bethany Provost Joe Lane said. “The graduate admissions staff at Duquesne recognize that Bethanians are well-prepared for graduate study and will be leaders in their fields. We are excited to work with Duquesne, and we look forward to finalizing several other partnerships in the near future.”
Qualified students – and those who have graduated from Bethany within the last five years – will be considered for preferred admission to Duquesne’s MBA-Sustainable Business Practices, Professional MBA, Master of Science in Analytics and Information Management, Master of Science in Supply Chain Management, or Master of Science in Accountancy programs.
To be eligible, a Bethany student must earn a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, achieve “senior-level enrollment status,” and provide the necessary application forms and transcripts.
A GMAT/GRE waiver is available for Bethany business and accounting students with at least a 3.25 GPA. Those seeking admission to the Master of Science in Accountancy program must also have a 3.0 average or better in all accounting courses to qualify for the waiver.
