Jalen Best-Payton, of Waldorf, Md., graduated from Bethany College with a degree in psychology.
He plans to work while continuing to design apparel through his Oop! brand.
“Honestly, I believe I will just go where life takes me … just know it’ll make me successful,” he said.
At Bethany, Best-Payton played lacrosse and was president of the Black Student Union.
His favorite Bethany memories are winning the Wes Wagner Award, which recognizes academic accomplishment, outstanding artistic ability, and exceptional creativity, as a senior and a party his freshman year.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
