Lena Grogan, of Pittsburgh, will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry.
While at Bethany, Grogan was a Kalon Scholar and a member of the Pre-Health Professionals Club, ACS, Math and Computer Science Club, and Alpha Epsilon Delta, Kappa Mu Epsilon, and Gamma Sigma Epsilon honor societies.
She also tutored students in chemistry and mathematics.
Grogan said her favorite Bethany memory was being recognized for her hard work and involvement on campus by winning the Bethany 2000 Prize. The award, given during the annual Honors Day celebration, recognizes the senior who has best-demonstrated loyalty and commitment to Bethany College in a wide range of activities.
After graduation she will attend the University of Maryland, Baltimore, to study for her PhD in Pharmaceutical Science.
