BETHANY, W.Va. – Dana Railsback, a 1993 Bethany College graduate and the Senior Manager of Payment Strategies & InStore Banking at Giant Eagle, Inc., will address the women of Bethany College’s graduating class at the 69th Darline Nicholson May Morning Breakfast. The annual event will take place on Saturday, May 7, at 9:30 a.m. in Benedum Commons as part of the College’s 2016 Alumni Weekend.
Serving in multiple positions before she was named Senior Manager of Payment Strategies & InStore Banking in 2014, Railsback began her career at Giant Eagle, Inc. in 2005. Her prior positions include Manager of Strategic Assortment, Manager of Strategic Pricing and Pricing Analyst. Many of her duties involve supervising a team of analysts and coordinators, as well as implementing new work design for category resets with a cross-functional advisory board.
Prior to her employment at Giant Eagle, Inc., Railsback was the Supervisor at Mci where she was responsible for creating and maintaining software and Host Parameter File (HPF) access. In 1995, she was the Accounting Assistant at CompuServe Incorporated where she created Host Parameter Files and fulfilled sales branch financial requests. Railsback received her degree in Communications while at Bethany.
Sponsored by the Panhellenic Council and the Office of Student Life at Bethany College, the Darline Nicholson May Morning Breakfast dates back to 1947 and was established to honor female students, faculty and community members. In addition to Railsback’s address, a Bethany senior will be presented the Aleece C. Gresham Award. This prize is given to a woman who has exhibited sound academic accomplishment, participated in and displayed leadership in a variety of co-curricular activities, and shown dedication and commitment to the College. All women on Bethany’s campus are invited and encouraged to attend this event.
