In 2019, Lisa launched a management/production company she named Story & Voice, after a 30-year career as a boutique agent representing writers and directors and selling the film rights for books. Currently, she develops television shows and features as a producer, consulting with production companies and screenwriters in business and creative endeavors. Lisa does one-on-one work with creatives who are looking to go deep and explore their personal voices. In addition, she also works with businesses and non-profits on mission statements and storytelling. Lisa co-founded a film initiative at California State University Dominguez Hills in 2013 called “Hollywood by the Horns” and still teaches a class called “Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Story.” Her many clients have been involved with hundreds of projects in TV, film, and new media all over the world.

Lisa is a graduate of Bethany College and the Harvard Publishing Program. She was the founding president of CineStory Foundation and has been a victim advocate on the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), specializing in child advocacy, for 15 years.

Bethany College and the Alumni Council are excited to bring you the annual Bethany Connect Speaker Series. On select dates, the Bethany community will join to think about the questions raised by our times. The series started as a Zoom event during the height of the pandemic, but what once was an adaptation to a tricky situation has since proven to be an effective way to join the entire Bethany community together. Bethany is committed to engaging Bethanians of all ages through this series. So, join us—listen, learn, and ask questions. We look forward to connecting current students, faculty, and staff with the broader Bethany community through our Bethany Connect Speaker Series.
