Bethany College invites you to an exclusive Sencha-Style Japanese Tea Ceremony Presentation & Workshop on March 25 & 26, 2025. This rare cultural event brings an authentic Sencha tea experience directly from Japan to West Virginia!
Join us for an immersive journey into the elegance and philosophy of the Sencha-style tea ceremony, featuring a licensed instructor from Japan. Discover the history, aesthetics, and rituals behind this refined tradition while participating in hands-on tea preparation and tasting experiences.
Event Schedule:
Student Success Center in the Library, Bethany College, West Virginia
Tuesday, March 25 (11 a.m. – noon) – Introductory session for those curious about Japanese tea traditions.
Wednesday, March 26 (6 – 8 p.m.) – A deeper exploration of Japanese culture through tea.
