BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College has announced that Lori Weaver is the latest vice president of advancement.

“With her significant experience in fund raising at all levels, Lori will be a tremendous asset to Bethany College by engaging our alumni and advancing our rich history toward current strategic priorities,” said Dr. Tamara Rodenberg, president of the college.

Weaver joined Bethany in February as vice president of major gifts and campaign operations.

“I’m excited to work with Dr. Rodenberg and the campus community to ensure a strong future for Bethany College,” Weaver said. “Bethany College has a proud and meaningful history, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

She had spent almost 10 years at Washington & Jefferson University, where she was most recently executive director of campaigns and advancement operations. She previously was an annual fund officer at W&J and director of institutional advancement at Wheeling Jesuit University.

Weaver has a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology from West Liberty University.

She lives in Wheeling with her husband, Aaron, and their five children, Olivia, Ben, Brendon, Maddie, and Noah.
