BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College has announced the hiring of Lori Weaver as associate vice president of major gifts and campaign operations.

Weaver joins Bethany after almost 10 years at Washington & Jefferson College, where she was most recently executive director of campaigns and advancement operations. She previously was an annual fund officer at W&J and director of institutional advancement at Wheeling Jesuit University.

“With her significant experience in engaging alumni, Lori will enable Bethany College to better connect with its alumni, friends, and supporters,” said Chris Lambert, vice president of advancement and alumni relations.

Weaver has a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology from West Liberty University.

“I’m excited to join the Bethany College community and to work with our amazing faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and students,” she said. “I’m looking forward to building strong relationships and assisting in the growth of Bethany College.”

Weaver lives in Wheeling with her husband, Aaron, and their five children, Olivia, Ben, Brendon, Maddie, and Noah.
